NEW YORK, April 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The One Club today announced that actor Alec Baldwin will host the 41st Annual One Show Awards, the most prestigious international awards show honoring the best in advertising, interactive, branded entertainment and design.
"A gifted actor and a New Yorker through and through, Alec Baldwin is the perfect choice to host The One Show, a New York institution," said Mary Warlick, CEO of The One Club, the nonprofit organization that produces The One Show Awards and Creative Week. "We want to make a big statement for this year's new format, and Mr. Baldwin does just that."
Alec Baldwin has appeared in over forty films, including Beetle Juice, The Hunt for Red October, The Cooler, for which he received an Oscar nomination, and The Departed, among many others. On television, Baldwin earned many awards, including two Emmys as Best Actor in a Comedy Series, for his portrayal of Jack Donaghy on NBC's critically acclaimed 30 Rock. He is also a dedicated supporter of numerous causes related to the arts.

The One Show will take place at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center on May 9th, capping off a weeklong festival of events and exhibitions at Creative Week.
