WE ARE Pi Equipe

A business lead driving global communication effectiveness for the world’s most innovative brands. At McCann Erickson in London Alex worked on the global Microsoft Xbox and MasterCard business and helped set-up the digital department. During 4 years at Wieden+Kennedy Alex led the global Electronic Arts, Pirelli and LEGO business. Alex is a regular contributor to the marketing press. Alex cofounded WE ARE Pi in 2011. 

Rick Chant makes up one half of Hobson-Chant. A multi-award-winning creative duo developing long term integrated global campaign platforms for the world’s most loved brands including Nestle, Bacardi, Nike, Motorola, Coca-Cola, ESPN and Electronic Arts. During six years at Wieden+Kennedy the pair developed advertising, digital platforms and music for Coca-Cola ‘Happiness Factory’, EA SPORTS FIFA, Nike World Cup, and ESPN. Rick cofounded WE ARE Pi in 2011. 

Patrick joined WE ARE Pi having previously worked with the entire team at Wieden+Kennedy on such clients as Heineken, Honda, and Electronic Arts. More recently Patrick was based in Dubai where he was stationed within the Corporate Communications department at Emirates Airlines to develop the global brand re‐launch platform, "Hello Tomorrow". Patrick also works with our social outreach partners to ensure our client's work makes waves across digital PR, media partnerships, blogger and social influencer outreach, and all social platforms. 

Barney Hobson makes up one half of Hobson-Chant. Clare spent a long time in Australia in leadership roles for both global networks (DDB/BBDO) and independent powerhouses. Most recently she ran Australia's maverick creative and content group, The Monkeys. She's consulted to small businesses, mentored juniors and has a decent side hustle in writing short films and stories.
