The idea behing this unique recognition is to promote as much as possible the campaigns, offer additional promotion in order to increase tha campaign's impact on society, contribute to raise awarness on the cause it focusses on and to inspire many to change behaviors.

Since 2001, The International non-profit organization, ACT Responsible, has been collecting campaigns which promote responsible advertising on sustainability, equitable development and social responsibility in a bid to highlight how creativity is used to address the world's major issues. The association aims to federate the advertising professionals who work to promote sustainable development. Over time, ACT Responsible has become a key player in the industry, building a network of committed agencies, media, production companies, advertisers, institutions, NGOs and corporations, all over the world, who believe responsible advertising is an essential focus of modern communications.
