A vroom of your own

Flight delays are presenting a new opportunity for contextual branding, it seems. After Kit Kat and its airport vending machine, Lisbon hotel Evolution and its agency Nova have also come up with a solution to comfort stranded travellers. It’s a cardboard suitcase that quickly unfolds to become a bed. There’s even a handy place to stash your bag. A total of 450 kilos (over 950 pounds) of cardboard was recycled to create 60 “portable rooms” for the promotion. And it was very on-brand, too, given that the hotel is positioned as the most advanced in Lisbon. Hopefully the cardboard camp bed made users keen to try the real thing.
