A bank catches up with fast and furious podcast listeners.

You’ve heard of speed reading, right? You may have also heard of speed listening. It’s popular among podcast fans who want to ingest as much aural pleasure as possible in double time, so they supercharge their listening speed with applications like “Smart Speed”. Pauses eliminated, they can rip through podcasts at (almost) the speed of sound. Now BNY Mellon and its agency Havas New York have picked up on the “podfasting” trend, launching a 15 second ad that talks up the bank’s financial management skills at normal speed – and twice as fast. So the podcast addicts hear a message tailored to them. Fast work, Havas.
