Philosophie | How was the TVC created? Conceptualised by JWT Paris, its a mixture of shooting Sunsilk girls in real life situations, on the subway, in a changing room, and on a date at the cinema. Each monster was created firstly from drawings by Californian artist San Jun Lee, the created in 3D by specialists Glassworks based in London. How long? It took over 3 months for the monsters to be created and realised, in France. How many? There are five monsters, personifying the most common hair problems that women face daily: Flatty, Kinky, Itchy, Breaky and Greasy. - Flatty has big hands like baseball gloves and he just loves plastering your hair to your scalp so that its limp and lifeless. He has big, dumb-looking eyes and is blue to match Sunsilk anti-flat hair care products. - Kinky is a small devilish monster who likes to cause those annoying kinks in perfectly styled hair. His little claws cause the kinks, he is purple in colour to match Sunsilk silky straight shampoo bottle. - Its obvious that Itchy has a skin problem and is follically challenged. His big, claw-like hands are responsible for those all too often itchy moments. He is peachy coloured to match Sunsilk anti-itch hair care products. - Breaky is like a child you cannot control, he likes to break whatever he can get his hands on, specially your hair! Like a brush that gets stuck in your tangled hair, he embeds himself in your hair with his spikes and then has a ball breaking hair shafts. He is orange coloured to match Sunsilk care and repair hair care products. - Greasy loves to lick your scalp to add a nice oily coating! See his big eyes light up when he climbs onto your hair and gets to work with his long green tongue! Hes green to match the Sunsilk fresh for longer hair care products. |
