Tim and his longtime partner, Dave Weist, have spent the last 5 years growing and evolving Mullenlowes creative offering. When he joined in 2010 the charge was simple, spearhead a creative resurgence and make Mullen internationally recognized for its creativity and innovation. As a result, Mullen made the AdAge Agency A-list 4 of the last 5 years and most recently ranked #6 in the US and #15 globally by The One Club¬. In addition, Creativity named Mullen “Innovator of the year” and Forbes Magazine put Mullen on their Most Innovative Company list.
Through unconventional practices and establishing a process of perpetual reinvention, Tim has been able to level the playing field and seize an unfair share of attention for a stable of clients that often find themselves out spent by their competitors. Clients like JetBlue, Acura, Zappos, and Google. Some recent accolades include the much lauded Grand Effie for American Greetings “Worlds toughest Job”, six lions for National Geographic’s “killing Kennedy” site and an Emmy for Nat Geo’s “Live from space” second screen experience. What Tim takes real pride in is the broad spectrum of work his department puts out. From activations and digital experiences to social and broadcast. His clients and prospects never know what to expect but are certain that a novel approach and fresh thinking will always be in play.
Tim has enjoyed creating memorable work and won most every national and international award including several Cannes Gold Lions, Cannes Grand Prix, One Show Pencils, D&AD Awards, Communication Arts Awards, ANDY’s, multiple AICP awards and just recently had Volkswagens “Pink Moon” spot named one of the best automotive commercials of the last decade. Tim feels most fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from and work with some of the best in the business.
