As President, US, Sean leads R/GA’s domestic presence across six locations and is charged with managing, growing, and developing the offerings in each market.
Sean has an extensive career in advertising, specifically on the digital side, where he has created initiatives with some of the most renowned brands in the world. Before joining R/GA, he served as Global Chief Digital Officer and Managing Partner at Havas Worldwide New York. He was the executive lead on all digital efforts across the global network while also co-managing the New York office, the network’s largest member. In this role, he managed a group of fully integrated clients including IBM, Hershey’s, Dos Equis, and Liberty Mutual. Globally, he oversaw the development of the network’s digital strategy, experience design, social marketing, digital production, and technology.
Prior to Havas, Sean was R/GA’s SVP of Operations & Business Planning and executive sponsor for key accounts including Nike and Converse. As Managing Director for the Nike account, he oversaw one of the most awarded teams in the business, directing innovative projects across the Nike portfolio, including Nike Running, Nike Basketball, NIKEiD, and Nike+. During this time, he played a pivotal role in reorienting the company’s organizational structure to make it more nimble, which enabled R/GA to serve clients better and provide more diverse opportunities to talent within the company. This major initiative still stands as a successful model for retaining clients, fostering R/GA culture, and expanding capabilities and offerings. Additionally, Sean was instrumental in establishing R/GA Buenos Aires as a significant full-service agency in the LATAM region.
Sean also ran his own consultancy, CLR Media; before that, he led creative technology at OVEN Digital for clients including Tiffany & Co., IBM, and WinFirst. He holds a bachelor of fine arts and electronic media from Carnegie Mellon University.
