Born in Mexico City and raised in Paris, I'm currently General Creative Director at J. Walter Thompson.
Always being passionate about creativity, I've worked several years in Paris doing offline work for agencies like Lowe Lintas, JWT, Publicis and LittleBig. In 2007 I landed in Barcelona where I fell in love with the digital world at DoubleYou, Spain's leading digital and integrated advertising agency.
But ever since the beginning, I've been obsessed with turning advertising into something that gratifies people.
During my Spanish cycle I had the privilege to be part of the team who worked on the defining campaigns that placed DoubleYou as a benchmark agency for digital and integrated advertising in Spain and LatAm.
Throughout my career I have received different accolades and awards from international festivals such as Cannes, One Show, New York Festivals, FIAP, The FWA and IAB, including 7 Grand Prix (in different categories) in FIAP, El Sol and El Ojo de Iberoamérica, IMÁN, LAUS and Círculo Creativo de Mexico.
After 20 years in Europe, I came back to Mexico where I was in charge of the first office opened by DoubleYou to develop its activity in the Americas.
Under my leadership, in less than two years, DoubleYou was ranked in the top 10 most creative agencies in Mexico at the Círculo Creativo Festival (Mexico’s most important ad festival) winning two Grand Prix in Integrated and Digital Campaigns, and awards at festivals such as El Sol, El Ojo de Iberoamérica and Effie. It also ranked as the 2nd best digital agency in Mexico at the IAB Conecta Awards. These accomplishments have established and solidified DoubleYou’s creative and strategic reputation in the mexican industry.
With the team of talented professionals I’ve put together, DoubleYou managed to win the trust of companies like Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Liverpool, Mabe, Heineken (Cerveza Indio), Bimbo and Nike.
Last but not least, I'm a proud board member of the conspiracy to change advertising.
