Mathieu Lacrouts is the CEO of Hurrah.agency, the first advertising agency dedicated to esports and gaming. Mathieu has been playing Counter-Strike since 2004, and has been an esports fan since 2006, when he attended his first tournament game. He went first for a career in advertising in entertainment working for brands like Netflix, Red Bull, Pathé or Warner. One day he wondered, 'why aren't any brands producing great creative content for people like us?'.
That's when he decided to launch an ad agency dedicated to esports, Hurrah, in 2015 — the name was inspired by the intense emotion they as fans felt when watching a game. At this time, Hurrah was uniquely designed to support mainstream brands in their gaming and esports endeavors. Seven years later, Hurrah.agency has become an award winning agency delivering creative campaigns for blue chip brands like Coca-Cola, BNP Paribas, Renault, Nestlé, HP, Domino’s and more.
