The creative agencies with the two most awarded cases of the argentine festival + Digital received a free registration to Epica Awards. The deserving companies are R/GA and BBDO Argentina.
To help raise the profile of Argentine agencies in the world press and encourage their participation in international awards, Epica joined forces with + Digital, the award administered by the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) and by the alliance of argentine Interactive agencies.
Due to the agreement, the agencies with the two most awarded cases in + Digital 2019, namely R/GA and BBDO Argentina, will be able to enter their campaign into a digital category of the Epica Awards for free.
The ECDs of the award-winning agencies also received copies of the Epica Book, considered “the bible of advertising,” the yearbook compiles the best creativity in the world in 400 pages.
Epica is the only global creative award judged by journalists from the press specialized in informing about marketing and advertising. The international contest has seven digital categories that range from the best website, to mobile campaigns and VR.
The regional creative general director of R/GA, Mariano Jeger, who received the benefit of participating in the Epica Awards, stressed the importance of the global event and its distinctive aspect: “The possibility of having many experienced journalists from different parts of the world, judging your work, allows you to find new perspectives and criteria different from those evaluated in traditional festivals. Their profession allows them to build a global vision of the industry and offer new points of view to analyze the work. That gives a different air to the festival and opens up new opportunities for those who participate. ”
The creative general director of BBDO, Joaquín Campins, underlined the international impact of participating in international competitions such as Epica Awards: "It earns a reputation, it becomes familiar to everyone, especially for the international advertising community.
