Brief	We see Jane, an LAPD officer, facing an internal investigation. Next we flash back to the night when she and her partner were called to a car wreck. Beside the dead driver lies a gun and rolls of cash. Later we see Jane paying for a takeaway using the bloody cash. The partners' next call leads them to an empty house, where Jane is attacked by a terrifying figure. She shoots. It turns out to be her partner, who was playing a prank. Jane kills herself and travels into the afterlife to bring her colleague back. But the medics "save" her before she can succeed.
