Many times, Czech veterans, dissidents, political prisoners and others in opposition to ruling regimes found themselves in situations where only staying silent could save their lives. In this campaign for the National History Archive, the largest public database of oral history in Europe, they are asked to do the opposite – speak up so their stories can be preserved for future generations. The three emotive films, featuring torture, pursuit and evasion, are based on true stories.

The campaign consists of 3 authentic stories from 3 different decades of the 20th century.
