Synopsis | This summer, an Amnesty International sticker on the side of a Reykjavik bus reminded the public they could use their name to stop violence. Handwritten Icelandic names – some belonging to celebrities, others to regular people – were printed on film that made the bus windows appear foggy from the inside. The scribbled signatures looked startlingly real.Set in Iceland, Your Name Saves Lives campaign for Amnesty International successfully contributed to the world’s biggest human rights campaign, Write for Rights, by inviting Icelanders to use their name to stop unlawful prosecution of young people under 20. |
