| Synopsis | Pellets are granules of industrial plastics (GPI), which are the raw material used by the plastic industry to manufacture a large number of everyday objects. They are so small that they are almost invisible in the sand and are considered micro-plastics. |
| Problème | 160,000 tonnes of plastic pellets are lost each year in Europe during handling or transport. Once in the wild, this pollution is uncontrollable and causes a real environmental catastrophe by invading the coasts and the seabed. Ingested by marine fauna, they impact all ecosystems up to human health. |
