As a writer and executive creative director for almost 20 years, Lisa has managed groups with upwards of 20 teams, working across multiple clients that are monolithic, large, small and teeny.
From the beginning, Lisa made her mark doing the kind of work that was more typically reserved for mad men – namely, sports (Nike, Jordan, ESPN, NFL) and tech (IBM and Motorola). But she also wouldn’t say no to a good tampon campaign either and found a way to turn the category on its head, bidding a fond farewell to white pants and blue liquids.
In addition to being a prolific writer who can do both humor and heartstrings, she is a particularly skilled presenter and “big” thinker with an excellent pitch record who is quickly able to get to the core of a cohesive brand idea beyond just, “Hey, this could be a cool random app.” Not to say that random apps aren’t cool. They are totally cool.
Lisa was named one of the 30 most creative women in advertising by Business Insider, and over the years, her work has won nearly every major industry award in every color including Cannes, CLIO, One Show, ANDY, D&AD, CA and Effies. She has also lost a bunch of awards she totally should have won.
Lisa also likes to win awards outside of advertising, and in her spare time she has taken her dogs, Schmutzy and Plop, to the highest levels of international competition in the sport of dog agility, (Yes, it’s totally a sport. And yes, it’s totally cool.) winning championships and bringing home the gold on several occasions.
